Right from first glance, this wine announces its powerful presence. It is massively dark and deep, redolent of grilled mission figs, the finest Italian leather sofa, chocolate balsamic, dark leafy tobacco and basil. Big and meaty on the palate, you might find fig bars, dark licorice, barrel-brewed root beer, chocolate almond bark and grilled plums lurking here. The tannins are exceedingly pleasing, and linger on the lengthy finish.

This wine has many layers waiting to be explored. Pair with Angus burgers topped with pepper jack or rib eye steak finished with fig balsamic.
