"Call Me a Cab" - 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, Thatcher Bay Vineyard, Livermore Valley

$40.00

GOLD MEDAL, 2024 SF CHRONICLE WINE COMPETITION

Aged for 24 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels, the wine is righteously assertive, yet elegantly supple in texture, with pleasing leather, tobacco and cola aromas and lovely cassis, cherry and chocolate flavors bolstered by snappy, smooth tannins.  A splash of Cabernet Franc adds to the lengthy finish.

An amazing pairing with filet mignon steak with creamy garlic au gratin potatoes.
