Gold Medal Winner - 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

This Chardonnay fruit was hand picked from Tenuta Vineyard in Livermore Valley, and pressed directly to a 1 year old French Oak barrel.  It went underwent 100% initial and secondary fermentation in barrel with bi-weekly bâtonnage.  The wine was aged sur lie for 10 months until bottled for a creamy, round and delicately buttery profile.  Flavors of baked apple turnovers, pear tart and perfectly toasted marshmallow make this a delight to share with friends.
